There is no medical intervention that does not carry some type of risk ranging from minor complications to life threatening complications.

When we offer a surgical intervention to our patients, we believe that the benefit of the intervention outweigh the risk.  It is our commitment to explain to our patients the risks and benefits of the proposed procedure, sometimes we offer an alternative procedure and at times the alternative is no intervention at all.

When a you sign an inform consent it means that you understand the different options available to you and you accepted the risks involved with the selected choice.
